MICHAEL S. CASEY
Received bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from University of Connecticut in 1999 and Juris Doctorate, certificate in tax studies, from University of Connecticut School of Law in 2002. Admitted to the Connecticut bar in 2002, U.S. District Court District of Connecticut in 2003, Tax Court in 2003.
Shortly after graduating law school Michael worked an associate at a general practice firm in Stratford , CT for over three years. There he represented plaintiffs and defendants at all stages in the litigation process, handling personal injury actions, commercial litigation, as well as land use and tax appeals.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael was staff counsel for a national insurance company for a little under three years. There he tried over 20 jury trials to verdict.
His practice areas include civil/commercial litigation, collections, insurance litigation, worker's compensation, housing, and foreclosure defense.
