JEFFREY M. SACHS
Jeffrey is engaged in the general practice of law, with primary emphasis on Real Estate, Corporate, Business Transactions, Estate Planning, Banking, Litigation, Internet Law and Intellectual Property. He has represented many well-known clients including the Chicago Title Insurance, First American Title Insurance and Stewart Title Insurance companies; as well as Fleet National Bank, Hershman Capital Corporation, People's Mortgage Corporation, First Union National Bank, Chase Manhattan Bank and Cutler's Record Shop, Inc.
Jeffrey received his undergraduate degree from Colby College in 1979, and his Juris Doctor degree from Emory University in 1982. While attending Emory he served as Editor of the Emory Law Journal. Jeffrey was admitted to the Connecticut Bar Association in 1982, the State Bar of Georgia in 1982, and the New Haven County Bar Association in 1983. His Martindale-Hubbell rating is BV.
Jeffrey has resided in the Town of Orange for most of his life and is active in local civic matters. He is married and has three children. He has served as Town Moderator and Chairman of the Town's Memorial Day Parade.
Jeffrey has successfully litigated multimillion dollar commercial and tax matters and has also successfully obtained reversals of Superior Court decisions on the appellate level. Jeffrey has taught paralegal courses to students in New Haven County in the areas of Commercial and Real Estate Law.
