FRANK J. RAIO

Frank RaioFrank was born in New Haven, Connecticut on July 3, 1960. He graduated from Hamden High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Brandeis University in 1983 and his Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac School of Law in 1991. He was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 1991, and the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut in 1997.

Frank has handled a number of complex property insurance claims since he joined the firm in 1993. He has successfully litigated a number of cases often involving issues of first impression in the area of property insurance. Frank has also participated in a number of appellate matters including successfully arguing Northrop v. Allstate Insurance Company, an important Connecticut Supreme Court decision which has been cited throughout the country on behalf of policyholders. Frank also handles personal injury and criminal matters in all Connecticut Courts.

Frank is currently an associate professor at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut teaching First Amendment Law since 2002, as well as serving as the school's men's soccer coach since 1990.

Frank is a member of the New Haven Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. His areas of practice include Criminal Law, Insurance Litigation, and Negligence.
