Attorney Christopher M. Gallagher

Chris' practice areas include civil litigation, collections, insurance litigation, criminal litigation and personal injury.

  • Received his undergraduate degree from The University of Scranton, and his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law. He was admitted to the Connecticut State Bar and the United State District Court for the District of Connecticut in 2005.

  • Prior to joining the firm, Chris was an associate for 4 years at a general practice firm in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he practiced in the areas of personal injury, criminal and civil litigation and family law.
 
  • He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association Insurance Committee, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Greater Milford Chapter of Connecticut B.N.I.

  • Chris is the 2005 Recipient of the New Haven County Bar Association's Book Award.

  • He drafted a Supreme Court brief in Raftopol v. Ramey 299 Conn.681, a case of first impression authorizing a finding of intended parentage in surrogacy cases. In this case, Chris also argued and briefed the matter at the trial court level.
